We've gotten many emails and messages over the last weeks and some of you might have noticed that we no longer have pre-configured PCs on our website. Taking the current hardware market situations into account, we have decided to stop offering pre-configured PCs and focus more on PC Cases and PC Accessories. The hardware market is a disaster with 64GB DDR5 Ram getting as high as $1,900 and m.2 drives being equally unreasonable. Even our USB Sticks are getting more expensive to manufacture. Opinions vary greatly when this will eventually stabilize but as for now, there is no end in sight. We, as a company, have been through numerous hardware shortages like the great GPU shortage of 2017 - 2018 during the mining boom and then the next GPU shortage a few years ago but absolutely nothing compares to what is transpiring right now.

Let me use the last Warp Core Geek Machine we've built for a customer as an example. This little guy here was a special build and priced out at $4999.99. In the weeks from the order to the actual build, RAM prices went from an average of $900 for 64GB to an average of $1,200. The installed RTX 5080 went from an average of $1,300 to about $1,900. I'm not even talking about the 2TB and 4TD drives in there. 

But that doesn’t mean we will stop building and selling PCs altogether. You will still be able to purchase our one-offs, pre-builds and of course our insane specialty builds. We love what we are doing way too much to just quit, and we will use this period to come up with even more extreme builds. Like this one here for next year's STLV.

If you want us to build a machine in one of our cases for you, please contact us. We will try our best to accommodate your wishes. But please keep in mind that most of our machines are very intricate builds that require maintenance and some might even require assembly due to shipping. 

And speaking of shipping. The only way we will ship these kind of computer from now on is via freight. We absolutely cannot risk machines like these being damaged during shipping. 

That all being said, because of that shift we will also have more time to develop more cool products for you.
