NeXT Cube RestoMod

One of the most fun projects we have ever done. And, no...unfortunately this one is not for sale. We are keeping this one. 

We are constantly browsing the old interwebs for vintage computers and cases that we can use for either a cool RestoMod or for a crazy project. One day in early 2025 we found this empty NeXT cube on eBay and bought it immediately. 

Without boring you too much, we  just removed the original magnesium fins and replaced them with custom acrylic ones so we could add some fans and airflow to this build. The whole system sits on a custom made drawer that slides out on rails. Quite cool. 

The system has a custom water loop, which cools the GPU and the CPU.
